Monumo named in PwC’s Net Zero Future50

17 April 2025

Monumo, the company using deeptech to redesign the electric motor, has been named in this year's PwC’s Net Zero Future50 report. The report highlights the UK’s 50 leading start-up companies that are driving decarbonisation.

Dominic Vergine commented, “The majority of AI is currently being used on things that humans can already do perfectly well; to write, to draw, to entertain. We believe AI has a real value and application in accelerating human invention and enabling the creation of novel engineering that is simply better in every way. Products that help our sustainability journey rather than detract from it.

“We are, therefore, delighted to be recognised for our focus on driving innovative solutions for a low-carbon economy, whilst simultaneously providing a competitive advantage to our automotive customers.”

Of the 50 companies listed in the report, Monumo is joined by 8 other amazing companies that call Cambridge their home, making the town the UK’s largest cluster outside of London. Our congratulations go to HutanBio, Outfield Technologies, Lambda agri, Biozeroc, Hyran Technologies, Xampla, QPT, and Neutreeno.
