Why Anser® AI Engine is both precise and fast

To design a truly next generation electric motor, we simulate and evaluate a million complete motor design variations a day. Not in the traditional approximated way, but fully and accurately calculated.

Performance and efficiency analysis

Anser AI accurately models the motor’s maximum performance and calculates how it performs in specific use cases or operation cycles. We consider AC/DC copper loss, core loss, magnet loss, mechanical losses, and we can include PWM effects when needed.

Multi-physics

We take into account electromagnetic, mechanical and thermal effects when simulating electric motors. These different aspects have complex interactions which need to be considered to achieve accurate results.

System-level

Because Anser AI can generate a million fully worked designs in a day, we are able to evaluate complex trade-offs between components and achieve the first-in-class system-level optimisation needed for next generation products.

Specialist simulations

We run targeted simulations to understand the performance and behaviour of our proposed candidate designs in full. This gives us confidence that the simulations reflect the performance of the final manufactured product accurately.

Manufacturability & performance

By understanding the manufacturing process, and its effect on performance, including features such as lamination stamping limits and build factors, we can account for these very early in the design process. This helps Anser AI to recommend only those designs which can be built to defined manufacturing processes.

Optimisation Intelligence

Our advanced optimisation algorithms explore the design space of motor systems in an efficient way, leveraging compute power and AI to pinpoint solutions that our customers need.

Scalability

We’ve demonstrated how Anser AI creates precise designs orders of magnitude faster than anything you’ve seen before.
